How it moves.
Uniswap Labs released VolatilePair, a hook whose swap fee responds to market movement instead of standing still.
YIN YANG runs its own immutable hook adapted from that mechanism. Buying has one fee, selling has another, and each moves with the market. Neither can exceed 3%.
Each half fills on its own. The sell fee sets the black water, the buy fee sets the pearl water, and 3% is full. The two halves never change shape.
Read about VolatilePairFee details
- Ceiling
- At most 3% of a swap in each direction, counting the liquidity provider and protocol components together. It is a maximum, not a rate.
- Not counted
- Ethereum gas, and any charge from the terminal you trade in.
- Token
- A standard ERC-20 with a fixed supply. No transfer tax, no later minting, no blacklist, no pauses.
- Hook
- An independent deployment adapted from VolatilePair, fixed at launch. It is not an official Uniswap product.
- Reading
- Both fees are read from the same block. Each chamber fills independently to its own directional fee, where 3% is full, and the geometry stays fixed.
